East View Cartographic offers a number of unique and difficult to acquire atlases and books and is an official reseller for many of the world's national mapping authorities and cartographic publishers. Virtually all major world atlases and the national atlases of scores of different nations are offered.
EVC also has a robust custom acquisitions department for hard to find items and maintains a network of secondary sources across the globe that is able to deliver, often promptly, rare and out-of-print publications. Scientific publications of all kinds are offered in such diverse fields as general geography (e.g., gazetteers, physical maps, political maps, national atlases, thematic maps); physical geography (e.g., hypsometry, soil maps, bioclimatology, glaciology, forest maps); human geography (infrastructure, archaeology, demographics, ethnography, transportation networks, telecommunications, land use).
