Off-the-shelf Country-wide DEM

This product is a small-scale DEM typically extracted from 1:200,000 and 1:250,000 scale topographic maps. It is ideally suited for projects covering sub national areas or regions. The resolution of this product is 3 arcseconds.

It is stored in Latitude-Longitude coordinates, in 1 x 1 degree blocks. For reference, a 1:200,000 scale map would typically have a 40-meter contour interval. More than 21,000,000 sq. km. have been produced.
