Country Packages
Country packages are designed for general planning, analysis and maintenance in order to provide information for large areas such as a group of countries or individual countries. As a rule, country packages are extracted from small and medium-scale topographic mapping and/or small resolution satellite imagery.
DEM: 100-200m resolution, extracted from 1:200,000 - 1:500,000 scale maps
CLUTTER: 100-200m resolution, extracted from 1:200,000 - 1:500,000 scale maps or imagery, six to nine classes, such as:
- Open Land
- Sea
- Inland Water
- Village/Suburban
- Grassland
- Cropland
- Urban
- Forest
- Swamps
LINEAR VECTOR: extracted from 1:200,000 - 1:500,000 scale maps, six to seven classes, such as:
- Highways
- Major roads
- Railways
- Airports
- Boundaries
- Rivers and lakes
- Coastline
