Quickbird Imagery
Digital Globe's Quickbird satellite offers the highest resolution available in the commercial remote sensing industry. Quickbird is available as .6m (60cm) resolution panchromatic or 2.4m multispectral imagery. There is also a .6m color-fused product available. The global Quickbird archive is quickly growing, mostly from 2003 and 2004. Just as with Ikonos imagery, Quickbird is comparable to aerial photography.
These products can be applied to a wide variety of applications and end-users. Particularly when combined with our vast collection of topographic maps, DEMs, and other ground control data, there is virtually no geospatial data need that we cannot meet.
This digital imagery is available by the sq km, with a minimum order size of 25 sq km for archival imagery and 64 sq km for new collections. For those areas not covered by the archive, new collections can be tasked.
