Nautical charts produced by the US government (the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA; and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency or NGA) represent complete coverage of the oceans of the world. This series comprises approximately 8,000 sheets and is made up of all scales from ultra-small scale charts of entire seas to ultra-large scale port plans.
