ONC Series

Operational Navigational Charts (ONC) are produced by NGA. These charts are on a scale of 1:1,000,000 and intended for medium- to low-altitude high-speed visual and radar navigation. The Operational Navigation Charts are designed to satisfy the en route visual and radar requirements of pilots/navigators flying at medium (2000 feet to 25,000 feet above ground level) and low altitude-high speed operations.

Also the charts are widely used for mission planning, analysis and intelligence briefings, as a source for navigational filmstrips, special purpose and cockpit visual products. The charts contain cartographic data with an aeronautical overprint depicting obstructions, aerodromes, special use airspace, navigational aids, Maximum Elevation Figures (MEF), and related data.

ONCs are available in paper, raster or georeferenced raster formats. Some ONCs are available only in raster form or in ADRG-derived formats.
