The DEM has been derived from extremely accurate 1:100,000 scale topographic maps, with 20m contours.

This rigorous DEM depicts Albania’s mountainous terrain with meticulous detail. All relevant layers were extracted from the maps and used as inputs to the DEM creation process. See below for a list of layers.
