Vector Map Level 0(Vmap0) / NGA (Formerly NIMA. It provides worldwide coverage of GIS data at 1:1,000,000 scale. This global coverage is divided into four regions, and is available on between 4 and 12 CD-ROMs, depending on format. The primary source is the 1:1,000,000 scale ONC series. The dataset is divided into 10 thematic layers: Boundaries; Data Quality; Elevation; Hydrography; Industry; Physiography; Population;Transportation; Utilities; Vegetation. VMap0 data are produced and stored in VPF (Vector Product Format). It could be converted to ESRI Shape, MapInfo, ArcInfo,DGN, DWG and DXF.
