The JOG series at the 1:250,000 scale is an extremely-popular and widely-used series of maps for a host of purposes. JOGs represent a medium-scale map intended as both a topographic map and an aeronautical chart. EVC is the premiere source of this map series, holding a massive collection of commercially-available JOGs.

Typically shown are built-up areas such as cities and towns, transportation networks, infrastructure, landmarks & cultural features, topography, and vegetation. Most JOGs are provided in the JOG-A (air) variant, and thus in addition to topographic data they include aeronautical overprints. These layers depict obstructions, special use aerospace, navigational aids, and related data.
