Natural Resources of the Kirgiz SSR is the fundamental, full-country geophysical and mineralogical reference work of the Kyrgyzstan Republic. The series consists of 8 sets of quadrangle maps, each produced at 1:500,000 with legends and symbols depicted on each sheet. The maps were originally produced in the final years of the Soviet Union by the Soviet GUGK organization for primarily local use in Kyrgyzstan, and at the time of publication were restricted. The maps have now become publicly available thanks to EVC’s work with Kyrgyz authorities in Bishkek, and we are proud to make this essential set of maps for one of Asia’s most strategic countries available for the first time ever.
