EVCmap 1000 1:1,000,000 Scale Global Vector Basemap
| EVC has created a small-scale vector basemap of the world – an ideal base layer to serve as the global foundation for your GIS projects. Currently only a portion of the world is complete. The product is designed as a ready-to-use dataset; simply load it and go! The vector basemap was created at the 1:1 Million scale, which means it is cartographically designed to display at that scale. |

The database is comprised of all the layers expected in a comprehensive basemap. The features in the basemap have been extracted from multiple sources, including topographic maps at appropriate scale, public-domain datasets such as boundaries and gazetteers, and ancillary reference sources.
