EVC proudly offers a one-of-a-kind Digital Elevation Model (DEM) of Iceland, at 20m spatial resolution. The entire island is covered and is available off-theshelf. The DEM has been extracted from 1:50,000 scale locally-produced topographic maps, with 10m contours.

The source mapping for this extraordinary undertaking was produced by Landmælingar Islands (LMI), also known as the National Land Survey of Iceland. The resulting product is a tremendously detailed DEM of one of the world’s most dramatic terrains. The DEM remarkably captures Iceland’s rugged and highly-varied landscape.
